Founded in 1987 with the opening of three diagnostic laboratories in Switzerland, the Unilabs group has grown rapidly by applying a strategy of acquiring quality partner laboratories throughout the European continent. In 2007, Unilabs merged with the large diagnostic imaging company Capio, present in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and the United Kingdom. Thanks to this merger, Unilabs becomes the undisputed leader in diagnostic services in Europe.

We continued to expand our business alongside our portfolio of cutting-edge diagnostic services, growing from a European company to a global player and delivering new offerings in genetic medicine and pathology among many other disciplines.
